How Sa'Am acupuncture technique is DIFFERENT?

1. Traditional Korean Acupuncture

A unique treatment method that has a different origin than the modalities from China and Japan

2. Points location

Mainly selects the points located below the elbows and knees, so patient is treated in a sitting position whereas other methods use the points all over the body

3. Treatment

Needles are applied to the opposite side of the affected area.

For example, a patient who feels pain in his left shoulder is given acupuncture on the right foot and hand

4. Number of needles

Uses only 1 to 8 needles whereas other methods use up to 100 needles

5. Safe methods

All acupuncture points (acu-points) are located away from our organs, making it a safe method
