About me

Hi, I am Elle Oh.

In 2010, I studied Nursing at Auckland University hoping to help people who need medical care. However, as time passed, my passion has increased to the point that I want to more actively cure people. In this aspect, I noticed that acupuncture is one of the most familiar alternative treatment since I was young.

In 2013, I found out that acupuncture is something that takes more than a study from a school, but rather need to have a true mentor who focuses on healing people, not just running a business.  Fortunately, I met my mentor during my first year of study and have been learning and practicing from him since.

Unlikely to Chinese Medicine, I practice special and unique acupuncture methods called Sa'Am acupuncture which is traditional Korean acupuncture. I started to learn it from my mentor who is an authentic successor of Sa'Am acupuncture in Korea.

I am a member of NZASA (NZ Acupuncture Standards Authority) and ACC treatment provider.

My philosophy

Personally, I believe acupuncture should be performed in my own philosophy as well as in firm belief.

Korean traditional acupuncture called Sa'Am acupuncture is a very unique technique and totally different from Chinese Medicine. I am proud to practice Korean Traditional Acupuncture and aim to let people know about the uniqueness and effectiveness of it.  Furthermore, I would like to make people aware of what acupuncture can help their body as alternative medicine, and make them familiar with acupuncture in general.

This is my philosophy to improve myself as a true acupuncturist.
